The Inevitable Middle East Flashpoint

A while back, I posted an article about Jerusalem and how world events would center around that city in the coming months and years.  If you haven't paid attention, the march to the gates of that ancient city is well underway.

ISIS is only part of the equation, as the entire Arab world--in particular Iran and its proxies--would love to burn Israel and dance on the dead bodies of Jews.  Maybe it's just an act, right?  All the world is a stage, after all.

Here are three points to consider in the coming days:

Everything seems chaotic, spiraling out of control... doesn't it?

Well there are some disturbing connections tying current events together and the governments instigating said events.  This "New World Order" is a picture of influences above and beyond political power, influences operating at the global level.

These are not isolated incidents, brought on by modern day political leaders and ideologies clashing; this is a story repeating from time immemorial and some of the players are up to the same old tricks.

Russian Aid to Ukraine: Trojan Horse or Goodwill Offering?

Russia dispatched a massive convoy of trucks towards Ukraine recently.  According to Moscow, these trucks are jam-packed with humanitarian aid and supplies.  Western countries have warned against using such tactics as a cover for invasion, and Ukraine is concerned about letting these trucks cross the border.

There is a lot of distrust brewing on both sides and the concern over this action, particularly with Russian military forces on the border, is understandable.  What if Russia is sending aid, just as they said?

Will this spark another incident?  Are Russian motives clean?

Apocalypse Watch: Three Steps to Doom

Welcome to the Apocalypse Watch.

 Periodically I will choose several headlines from the news that have one thing in common: apocalypse. If all stories take a turn for the worst, you can damn well bet we're doomed.

Rockets Away!

According to a recent DailyMail article, among many other news sources, the U.S. has proof that Russia is launching rockets from multiple-launch vehicles within its own borders against government targets across the Ukrainian border.  They are literally blasting away at Ukraine troops, and allegedly sending equipment and supplies to the rebel factions still holed up in eastern Ukraine.

What the hell is going on over there?

The latest article I've read regarding the Ukraine situation really grabbed my attention.

In a nutshell: either Russia is firing artillery from their border and supplying weapons to the rebels in East Ukraine, or the media machine is really cranking up the rhetoric and provoking the Bear.
